I will be undertaking a research and community engagement residency in Casa del Quartiere, Turin, Italy. The residency will consist of various exchanges within the community coupled with materials research and a final presentation / exhibition of the work.
The research portion will carry forward into an ongoing archive to eventually give rise to a body of work
I was awarded an arts council agility award on the basis of an application towards funding a period of research into looking at contemporary applications of traditional materials. I will soon begin commencing this work and sharing the research online with a view towards developing it into an eventual body of work

'The Road Home' A solo exhibition in Ireland
This exhibition will feature a cycle of 12 paintings backdropped against the austere beauty of the Red Church, playing on ideas of the contemporary and traditional. These works were developed over a two year period while artist in residence in Kenlis Studios, Kells, Co. Meath.
